About the Role
The EE V applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs. Responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems. Being an EE V may work with research teams to identify needs or resolve problems. Studies new technologies and researches innovative solutions and product designs. In addition, EE V requires a bachelor's degree of Electrical Engineering. Typically reports to a manager. Being an EE V works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Working as an EE V typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
Requirements
An electrical engineer, also known as an "EE", applies principles of engineering, mathematics, and science to analyze, research, design, and develop a variety of products, equipment, and systems. Electrical engineers may design communications, power generation, and defense systems. They also design various instruments and systems used for consumer, commercial, military, medical and scientific purposes. Electrical engineers often work closely with engineers in other disciplines to analyze and resolve problems with existing products or systems.
